Overview

Marissa is an associate in SS+D’s Corporate Department. She joined the firm as a Summer Associate in 2024 and returned full-time in 2026 after finishing law school. Marissa was admitted to the Bar in Ohio in 2025.

Professional Experience

Marissa obtained a bachelor’s degree in politics from Ave Maria University in 2022. Marissa attended the University of Dayton School of Law where she graduated in 2025, summa cum laude. While in law school, Marissa served as a Staff Writer (2023-2024) and a Comment Editor (2024-2025) for the University of Dayton Law Review and volunteered for the Ohio Governor’s Expedited Pardon Project. During law school, Marissa also externed for Hon. Judge Thomas M. Rose in the United States District Court.

Personal

Outside of the office, Marissa enjoys cheering on the Dayton Flyers and going to local coffee shops and bakeries with her husband and son.
