Marty is a litigator. His areas of concentration are real estate, contracts, collections, and fraud/embezzlement. He also devotes much of his practice to family law matters, including divorce, dissolution, custody, and child support issues. Marty has won many jury trials, bench trials, and appeals. He represents a wide range of clients, including individuals, small businesses, and one of the nation's largest banks. Marty is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, and serves on its ethics committee. He also is a member of the Inn of Court, an organization that strives to enhance advocacy skills among members of the bar. He occasionally serves as an arbitrator for the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court. Marty’s non-legal activities include Rotary club and serving as the director for an annual 10k/5k road race. When not in the office, Marty likes to spend time with his wife and daughters. On weekends he can be found cooking dinner on his grill. A former football player, Marty stays in shape running road races with Team SS+D and doing other fitness activities. Marty received his B.A., cum laude, in 1988 from Hillsdale College and his J.D. in 1992 from the University of Dayton. He is a member of the Dayton and Ohio State Bar Associations.
