Heather Welbaum Elected to Board of Trustees of the Planned Giving Council of Greater Dayton
Sebaly Shillito + Dyer is pleased to announce that Heather Welbaum has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Planned Giving Council of Greater Dayton.
Founded in 1996, the Planned Giving Council of Greater Dayton strives to increase the quality and quantity of charitable gifts in the greater Dayton area by serving as the professional resource for the local charitable giving community. It hosts educational and networking events throughout the year to encourage dialogue and collaboration among gift officers and professional advisors.
Heather joined Sebaly Shillito + Dyer’s Estate Planning Department in September of 2001 and became a shareholder on January 1, 2007.
Heather received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton in 1996, and her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton in 1999. She was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1999.
Since 2001, Heather has served as an adjunct Professor at the University of Dayton School of Law teaching courses in wills and trusts, legal research and writing, ADR, and appellate practice. Prior to joining SS+D, Heather served as a Staff Attorney for the Honorable William H. Wolff, Jr. of the Second Appellate District of the Court of Appeals of Ohio.
Heather has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star.
