Dianne Marx Appointed to the Montgomery County Public Defender Commission
The Montgomery County Commission has appointed Dianne Marx to a four year term on the Public Defender Commission. The Commission is comprised of five members, three appointed by the County Commission and two by the Presiding Judge of the Common Pleas Court. Penny Wolff, the firm's administrator, is also a member in her second and final four year term and serves as the current Chair. The Public Defender Commission operates under the Ohio Revised Code and is responsible for all operations of the Public Defender's office, including the hiring/firing of the Public Defender and recommending the annual budget to the County Commissioners.
