Kathryn is an associate in the Litigation Department.  Her practice focuses primarily on business and commercial litigation.

Kathryn grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and received her B.B.A. in marketing and management from the University of Iowa in 2006.  While at the University of Iowa, she was an active member of the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi. 

After college, Kathryn continued her tour of the Midwest by attending the University of Dayton School of Law, where she received her J.D. in 2009.  At the University of Dayton, Kathryn focused her studies on Intellectual Property and served on the executive board of the Intellectual Property Law Society.  She received the Dean’s Scholarship for academic excellence, as well as the Pro Bono Commitment to Community Award.  While in law school, Kathryn gained practical legal experience as a volunteer at Advocates for Basic Legal Equality of Southwestern Ohio and as an extern and summer associate at a Dayton law firm.

Prior to joining Sebaly Shillito + Dyer, Kathryn served as the Staff Attorney to Judge Mary L. Wiseman at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas and taught as an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College in the Paralegal Department. 

Kathryn was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 2009, the Wisconsin Bar in 2010, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in 2011.  She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Dayton Bar Association, and enjoys participating in various community organizations, including the Volunteer Lawyers Project and Generation Dayton.  Kathryn also loves spending time with her family and friends, golfing, skiing, reading, cooking, and traveling.
